Tiger Maple Slantback Hanging Cupboard (new) from the Coast of Maine. Highest quality figure seen in this 1785 new copy from a farm in Chichester, NH. Finished off with french polish and bees wax. The secondary wood is New England white pine, dressed with scrub plane and completed with shop made milk paint. The drawer is not dovetailed, the hinges and knob is solid brass.
This cupboard can be mounted on a wall yet small enough for a counter or table, because the scale is smaller than the original. The shelf is removable but not adjustable.
