This large heron marked sword has a hardened and tempered blade made from D2 steel. The hilt and scabbard components are sculptural quality silicon bronze. The pommel is keyed and hot peened to the tang. The guard is banzaipeened to the tang.

The grip and scabbard are leather over a wood core. Blade width at widest point. 14 at 5 inches from the tip. 6 x 1 7/8 inches.
