Small Antique Seated Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand / Southeast Asia

  
This is a nicely detailed small Antique Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand. Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to before the Turn of the Century. Please note the the large carved base in relation to the fairly small Buddha Figure. Normally this type of Buddha is detachable from the base and can be used interchangeably. In this case the figure was glued to the base so it is no longer detachable.

Please review the pictures closely in regards to the condition of this Buddha figure. Overall the Buddha figure is in Very Fine Condition with no damage. Buddha Dimensions with Base: 2 7/8 inches wide at the base & 4 5/8 inches high with a depth of 1 1/2 inch.

Buddha ONLY Height: 1 3/4 inches. Weight: 2.4 ounces (69 grams). Provenance: Collection of Don T.
