Fine interior and still-life from the artists studio at the Royal Academy. Scene with white porcelain jug, green apples on white tablecloth and the back of a painting seen in the background. The oil is framed in a gorgeous golden hand carved frame, made by Sigurd Valdemar Lonholdt himself. A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work. The oil could use a light cleaning, due to the old age.

Private pupil of professor Sigurd Wandel, Kraesten Iversen and Aksel Jorgensen until 1942.His role models include Edvard Weie, Harald Giersing, Karl Isakson and Edvard Munch, and his style appears as a mixture of picturesque form and expressive spontaneity.
