Primitive Early American Carved Wooden Dough Bowl Trencher from New England

  
This primitive wooden trencher was hand-made in the early to mid 19th Century. Surface wear including a small natural age split on one end and worn chipped edge at one end, all consistent with the trencher's age and use.
