Pair Of Antique Throne Chairs from the Granada Theater in Detroit Michigan. The wood chairs are upholstered in black-gold and magenta fabric. The antique chairs were reupholstered in that fabric about 2 years and are in perfect condition.

They are 52 inches tall-and the seat is 23 inches deep. The front of the chair arms are 29 across and the seat is 27 inches across.

There is a letter R carved in one of the arms, probably done when they stood in the theater. I acquired them from an antique dealer about 45 years ago and at that time they were covered in a dragon design fabric which was in very bad condition. I have had them reupholstered twice.

They originally stood somewhere in the theater. The Granada Theater was built in 1927 in Detroit Michigan. It was on West Warren Avenue.

It was demolished in the 1970's. Included in the photos is a photo of the outside of the theater. Any questions please feel free to ask.
