Original Railway Platform Bench from Pennsylvania Train Station 1900's

  

This is an 11 foot long platform railway bench from a Pennsylvania train station. It was on the platform outside and under shelter. It's all original patina which is true weathered grey wood. Wood is Grey/Black with mix of sienna on some smaller areas.

Metal/Iron Base has red / green / silver from original paints. Wood slats are all one piece. There are 2 bolt holes on each of the 4 feet for securing bench should you choose to do so. Seat has a dip - see pic - and there is a very slight bow on the end top slat board which does not interfere with sitting and is hardly noticeable. Is strong, sturdy and level. Has a simple design and would be a great addition as a unique / conversation piece in a loft - on a deck - landscape or cool farm table seating arrangement. DIMENSIONS: 136"L × 12"D × 32H.
