Over the years she has taken design, drawing and art classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New School in New York City. She has been training with award winning master artists in the "old masters' technique of oil paintings" for the past several years. She lives with her daughter and her husband in Hoboken, NJ. She is mostly inspired by travel photos, ethnic costumes, diversity and different cultures.
