Original Antique Wood Block Print from the Japanese Artist Utagawa Toyokuni

  

This is an original Wood Block from a print series of 53 Tokkaido Stations published in 1840 from the well known Japanese Artist Utagawa Toyokuni. Navy during the Korean War.

Please note the three chops on the right & left side of the print as well as above the character's head. Please review all pictures especially the background Biography listed in Picture #12. Wood Block Print Dimensions: 9 3/4 inches wide and 13 3/4 inches long. Paper Mat included: 12 1/2 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches long. The print is mounted on a durable paper mat for protection and a plastic sleeve is included.
