SMALLSEA WORKSHOP continues our new limited edition series based on the American Old West circa 1890/1900 with. The POST OFFICE AND TELEGRAPH Building.
This #5 in the series. This darling building is a much sort after addition to any 1:12 scale miniature Old West town. The Post Office and Telegraph Building is small in its "footprint" at only 15 deep x 12 1/2 wide x 10 1/2 tall. Despite being small you still can fit lots of items inside as you will see in the pictures. We researched the history of the period on post offices and the telegraph and built from scratch the post office counter, telegraph station, and the telegraph itself.
These are OOAK and signed pieces. Also, there are 2 LED lights which we adapted from a 12 v. A button is on top of the building towards the back which operates the lights.
The Old West series consists of 1:12 buildings are that small in size to accommodate collectors that are working with limited space and/ or intend to create a whole town and need space for multiple buildings. We build and decorate from our own plans. We use top quality materials for construction. Furnishings and fittings are made in the Workshop and acquired /commissioned from our large list of miniature artists from around the world. We often include lighting either LED or hard wired 12 volt. We intend to continue this series for the rest of 2023. Also, when each building is completed it is featured in the magazine, American Miniaturist. If you have any questions, please get in touch. We are happy to assist you. Many thanks for viewing our work. The next building will be listed next month.
