LARGE VINTAGE SAN PASQUAL SANTO FROM SANTA FE. This Santo from Santa Fe, NM is the patron saint of the kitchen, called San Pasqual.

Note that he has a basket containing three types of breads. He is 15" tall by 3 1/2" wide at the widest point. He has the traditional monk's haircut, the short beard and the pious, prayerful look.

The wood is totally dry and hard as a rock. I would estimate this to be over 50 years old, due to its condition. It could seriously be 100 years old. More research might provide you the artist's name and age. The style is not like contemporary Santeros.

It is a hand-made VINTAGE style. From a non-smoking, covid-free home.
