Up for sale is an original factory outer cabinet removed from a Fisher 800T receiver, the top-of-the-line Fisher model from the early 1970s. This is the correct factory cabinet, designed specifically for the 800T, but it will likely also fit the equally sought-after Fisher 500TX. The front face appears to be solid wood, likely for added durability and structure. For its age, this cabinet presents very well with minimal wear, but it does have some notable flaws.

There is a tiny separation area on the front right-hand corner, along with a small crease or scratch near the rear screen vent. On the far left-hand rear corner, there is a ding at the very top, which has slightly lifted the vinyl veneer. This flaw is relatively hard to see and is not very noticeable under normal viewing conditions.

Otherwise, the cabinet is straight, solid, and in good overall condition, as seen in the photos. If you own a Fisher 800T and need the correct factory-original cabinet, this is a rare opportunity.

These cabinets are hard to find, especially in good, original condition, since many were separated from their receivers over the years. This one was removed directly from an 800T, making it a perfect fit for collectors or restorers looking to complete their setup. Condition: This Fisher 800T cabinet is in very good vintage condition with some wear. The simulated wood grain veneer is in nice shape overall, with a tiny separation area on the front right corner, a small crease or scratch near the rear screen vent, and a ding on the far left-hand rear corner that has caused slight veneer lifting. Under normal viewing conditions, these flaws are not very noticeable, and the cabinet still presents well.

Structurally, it is solid and straight, with no major warping or damage.
