Cunard White Star RMS Queen Mary Chair from the Cabin Class Smoking Room

  
For sale tonight is a rare and unusual Cunard White Star Line chair from the Cabin Class Smoking Room. There was a minor restoration on chair arm and it was reupholstered by Zimmans in Boston in a fabric consistent with the Queen Mary decor. The seat cushion lifts out and I did keep the original lining from the bottom of the seat cushion as shown in the pictures. It still has the rope clip on the bottom that would secure the chair to the floor in choppy seas. I was using this as more of a decorative desk chair but in reality I need a functional desk chair as I downsize. So this is great as an occasional chair but I would not recommend it as a desk chair. Its in great condition, upholstery is near mint. Dimensions are approximately 33 inches high and 23 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Check back over the coming weeks for an esoteric collection of items from my past. This is not a fire sale; I will find new homes for my things but at a fair and reasonable price (don't be a buffoon and offer a ridiculously low price).
