Brass bound writing slope from the mid 19th century. Brass bound with vacant brass cartouche. Inteiror lined with black leather - two inkwells included - pen tray and cavity below the slope which lifts up. There is a prop to hold the slope ajar and a book rest, stored internally, such that it may be used as a readomg slope.

Full width tray released by removing a pin. 45.5cm x 24cm, 16.6cm height. Knocks and scratches throughout though none of any structural significance. Trust is always an issue when dealing online and we are fortuitous in that we have our own premises, the Pantiles Arcade in Tunbridge Wells (open Tuesday to Saturday) and you are most welcome to visit.
