Brass Bound Writing Slope from the Mid 19th Century

  

Brass bound writing slope from the mid 19th century. Brass bound with vacant brass cartouche. Inteiror lined with black leather - two inkwells included - pen tray and cavity below the slope which lifts up. There is a prop to hold the slope ajar and a book rest, stored internally, such that it may be used as a readomg slope.

Full width tray released by removing a pin. 45.5cm x 24cm, 16.6cm height. Knocks and scratches throughout though none of any structural significance.
