Bark River Special Hunting Knife California Buckeye Burl A2 from 2012 NIB

  
I did weather-proof the BRKT unique custom sheath with Obenauf's butter. It is absolutely NIB with original blade cover and factory tissue. Overall length is 10.5" with blade length 5.75". Materials are Bark River's famous A2 tool steel and absolutely stunning California Buckeye Burl handles with brass pins. Inspired by a late 19th century hunting knife, Bark River did a fabulous job on this historical project.

It is quite substantial (note the thick spine all the way through the full tang). I'm not sure how many were made in this pattern, first production run, but the scales are top tier, so it would be a rare knife in any case and especially rare--no more than a few ever made--with this wood. Sharp as the day it was convex ground in Escanaba, and it will look so patina-awesome after a season of use on game or fish.
