It is quite substantial (note the thick spine all the way through the full tang). I'm not sure how many were made in this pattern, first production run, but the scales are top tier, so it would be a rare knife in any case and especially rare--no more than a few ever made--with this wood. Sharp as the day it was convex ground in Escanaba, and it will look so patina-awesome after a season of use on game or fish.
