This is an Antique Primitive Seated Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand. Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to after the Turn of the Century. Please note the Buddha's intact head spike & ears as well as its pleasant smile! Please review the pictures closely in regards to the condition of this Buddha figure.

Overall the Buddha figure is in good condition however please note there is some slight excess paint residual on the figure's left breast & shoulder. Buddha Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches wide at the base & 7 inches high with a depth of 2 1/8 of an inch. Weight: 7.8 ounces (222 grams). Provenance: Collection of Don T.
