ANTIQUE GODDESS HAND CARVED FROM WOOD 18TALL 45.72CM. I don't know which Goddess the Statue represents. It could be the Goddess of Mercy, Goddess of Compassion or Home Guardian Deity, I apologize for not being knowledgeable on this.

But those are my best guess on basic research. This rustic distressed figure is carved out of one piece of wood, its a soft wood.

She's sitting on some kind of throne. The color on this statue is distressed throughout.

There are 2 cracks, one on the base and one running up and down the front portion of her body. There is also a small hole on the back of her left hand. There is no makers mark or place of origin known. Possibly carved during the Mid to Early Century.
