Antique Carved Wood Mask from Irian Jaya Province of Indonesia / New Guinea

  
This is an original Antique Carved Ceremonial Wood Mask from the Irian Jaya province of Indonesia (New Guinea). My guess is this piece most likely dates from at least the 1st Quarter of the 20th Century. Please note the mask is quite heavy.
