Antique Burmese Mandalay Style Hollow Lacquer Wood Buddha Figure from Myanmar
This is a nice example of an Antique Hollow Seated Wood 19th Century Buddha Figure from Burma. The piece is a typical of the Mandalay style prevalent during the late 1800's. He was was an avid collector of Wood Buddhas and actively pursued the best examples he could find from reputable dealers in Bangkok. This figure has a particularly pleasant smile and his right hand is in the earth witness Mudra position. Please review the pictures closely in regards to the overall condition of this Buddha figure.
