Antique Black Painted Secretary Bureau from Sweden. This oak secretary reflects the grace and class of Swedish styling in the early 1800's.

The dramatic serpentine drawers and cabriolet feet add a romantic touch, accented by delicate floral carving along the front and lower skirt. The traditional interior with 8 unique, small drawers and central "cubbie" offers perfect space to organize. It was later professionally painted with an exceptional black painted exterior complimented by a blue interior, updating the look while adding to the classic Swedish styling. Fully restored, all drawers function, desk top is solid and ready to be used and enjoyed.
