Antique axe spike from Toma tribe - Sierra Leone 19th, first half 20th. Toma is an ethnic group living in the Sierra Leon area. The wood has a very nice old patina.

One brass ornament is missing (see picture 3). On nail is a replacement (see picture 7). One nail is missing (see picture 7). The spike head has a slight movement.
