This is an antique, hand carved, wooden, African stool which was tribally made from a single piece of wood by the Dogon tribe of Mali, Africa. This rare African Dogon wooden stool measures 42 inches around the circumference of the top of the seat and is 11 inches tall and 13.50 inches wide.
This piece weighs 7 pounds and 9 ounces. Great condition with wear and cracking to the wood from age and tribal use and a round burn mark to the top of the seat as it mostly likely served as a table also.
