Sits on a Base - The Cross is Removeable From its Square Base. It was probably made to be removeable so it could be used in a Processional. The Red Color is Still Lively.Carved Gilt Ridges Around the Main Body of the Cross. Carved Sacrament Holder in Center (This Was Used to Hold the Sacrament, or Communion Wafer). Carvings at the Remaining Three Stations of The Cross. INRI is Scripted in Black at The Topmost Area. The INRI rectangle at The Top has Wavy Gilded Carvings. Painting at the Bottom/Base Is of Two Human Figures - They may be interpreted as Two Souls, or perhaps, Adam and Eve. Please ask as many questions as you like. We are happy to answer them.
