1920s Original Vintage Adjustable Nickel Desk Lamp by Edouard Buquet from Wyeth

  
An early desk lamp handmade by Édouard-Wilfred Buquet. Nickel-plated brass arms with an aluminum shade, resting on a round ebonized and lacquered wood base. Features original European silk-covered cord, wiring and plug; includes plug adaptor for use in USA.

A smaller-sized version of this lamp is featured in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) of New York. Dimensions: 37.25 inches Height x 22 inches Width x 6.5 inches Base Diameter. CONDITION: Fully working and in overall very good condition. Retains European socket; black silk twosted cord has an adaptor for USA electric wall outlets.
