18th C Rosewood Walking Stick James Ralph From CA Clinton Coin Silver Handle. Antique walking stick inscribed on top of handle "James Ralph From CA Clinton".

Shaft is rosewood with sapwood. Collar is constructed of various pieces of wood including rosewood, beech or oak. The handle is made from coin silver and filled with lead. A threaded brass rod holds the handle and collar into the shaft.

The ferrule is from brass. The shaft has some age cracks in the wood, they have been filled in the past. A portion of one of the wood washer in the collar is missing.
