This historical kukri is a reproduction of the kukri carried by Gurkhas in hand-to -hand combat during World War I in the jungles of Nepal. The kukri is well-known for playing a very significant role in the history of the Gurkhas. This kukri is legendary and very popular amongst the tourists as well as kukri collectors because of its history and similarity in appearance to the kukri used by Gurkhas during world war l. The blade has been water tempered at the edge and the full tang grip makes the kukri very functional. The Kukri is a multi functional too and can be used for jobs great and small. Among its many uses the kukri can be used to cut wood, clear brushes, cut meat and cut through bone etc. Accompanying this order are the. Apply machine oil, gun oil, or animal fat on the blade after every use. Its recommended that you don't leave any fingerprints on the blade. If its necessary to touch the blade, you should clean it by using petrol/gasoline or oil and wipe with soft cloths. Your Kukri blade is made of Carbon Steel and can rust easily. In case of rusting rub it with a fine sandpaper, clean the dirt using some oil or gasoline and wipe it with a clean soft cloth then apply oil.

Check the blade frequently and apply oil regularly. Use shoe polish for the leather sheaths.

Use brass polish or silver polish (the type used for brass fittings or sliver sheaths).
