About our Project: Furniture from Crisis. As part of the national charity against homelessness, Crisis, funds raised from sales at'Furniture from Crisis' help us to provide support services for homeless people and provide vocational training opportunities for our members.

Crisis members in Merseyside have been given the chance to learn furniture restoration and have worked on the pieces you see in our online store and in our London shops. Learning practical skills helps people to build confidence and improve physical & mental health. Working in our furniture workshop allows our members to explore their creativity as well improving their employment prospects.

The sales of these pieces and the skills learned help Crisis members on their journey out of homelessness. All our furniture is carefully sourced from auctions, dealers, and purveyors of goods; taking high quality items that need a little bit of love and refurbishing them to an exceeding level of finish. Each of our items receive an all-over treatment to ensure a quality restoration.
