Up for your consideration is this antique wood letterpress set in a vintage type drawer. It has wonderful wear and coloration from use prior to being designed into this Assemblage. An assemblage is a category of art issums much like realism sculpture, abstract ceramic, impressionistic paintings and the like.

The charm of this piece is the letters were all used commercially in the earliest forms of printing. The print drawer acts muck like a frame for display and also secures the chosen wooden letters. Once in a while a letter will loosen up but a little white glue will once again secure it.

The large size of the assemblage is 32 inches by 14 inches and approximately 2+ inches deep. The Artist signature was on an accompanying document but is long lost. I photographed a measuring tape along side the piece to help you understand the robust size of this offering. Please see all the photos for accurate description and condition.
