Bottle Cap Art US Flag Made From 280 Flattened Beer Bottle Caps (#2)

  
This United States Flag was made with 280 flattened beer bottle caps - Lone Star, Bud, Coors, and Platinum. Caps are flattened, then tacked to plywood; no glue was used. The 50 Lone Star Light stars were not flattened, but tacked on with a small piece of wood tucked within the cap to hold their form. The frame is made from reclaimed, weathered wood. The dimensions are approximately 27 inches wide by 16 inches long, and sticks out from wall just under 2 inches.

It weighs just over 9 pounds. Hangers are within frame (see picture) so flag lies flat against the wall.
