It is extremely rare that a complete set of antique Spanish Colonial Chairs ever come up on the market. These have an amazing history. They had been stored for close to that many years in a silo in northern California. We learned at the time that Marion Davies of William Randolph Hearst had been a prior owner and they were destined for the Hearst Castle. We have several antiques there were originally in that collection. These chairs are in amazing condition. Even the antique brocade cushions are in superb condition. One side is green tones the other side in shades of ivory. The rush seats are in fine condition and the chairs in general have rarely been sat on.

The seats measure 22 inches wide and the front and taper to 17 inches in the rear. And they are approximately 50 inches tall. As we are getting older we hope these chairs find a good home where they will be well taken care of.

I must tell you not only are they works of art, they are truly sturdy. They are being offered for the first time from our collection.
