18th century carved wooden bridal chest on a stand from Antigua, Guatemala. This unique piece of antique furniture is made with the rosettes typical of early republican furniture from Antigua. The table/stand had a long drawer and there are two drawers on the inside. With the stand, the chest is 38 inches high, 36 inches long and 19 inches deep. It is in beautiful shape, but has two small burn marks on the top (see pictures). The patina of the wood is particularly rich.
